Only seven days to the release of Asa’s third studio album, Bed of Stone, and we couldn’t be more excited. The acclaimed singer isn’t making it easy for us to contain ourselves, setting free two tracks—Satan Be Gone and The One That Never Comes—from the album ahead of August 25.
In the emotive style of Bi’ban ké (from 2007’s Aṣa) and Baby Gone (from 2010’s Beautiful Imperfection), The One That Never Comes is a ballad that is as beautiful as it is sad. Satan Be Gone, is decidedly more upbeat, with Asa’s Yoruba influences shining through. Head below to stream/download both singles and look out for the album from next week.
