Real Madrid and Portugal phenomenon Cristiano Ronaldo last night won his third (and second consecutive) Ballon d’Or by a significant margin, beating runner-ups Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer with 37.66% of total votes. Messi and Neuer had 15.76% and 15.72% respectively. Recent football retiree Thierry Henry presented the award to Ronaldo, whose reaction to winning was a bit err… see for yourself below.
