Lagos, Nigeria’s most populous city, is a potpourri of sights, sounds, peoples and cultures that normally should be discordant but have somehow come together to make up a fascinatingly eclectic metropolis. From riotous yellow buses raising hell on mainland motorways, to the vibrant markets of Lagos Island, Eko’s clashing elements are equal parts frustrating and endearing.
